چکیده

Aim: A successful restoration is the result of proper adhesion between dental tissue, cement and material. The long-term durability this bond mandatory for clinical success. aim present study to investigate influences three different thermal cycle applications on resin cement-glass ceramic shear strength.
Methodology: In study, a single CAD/CAM glass block five cements (Panavia V5, RelyX U200, G-CEM LinkForce, Veneer, and Variolink Esthetic) were used. total 240 sections 2 mm in thickness obtained under water cooling precision cutting machine with aid diamond saw. Cementation samples was conducted accordance instructions manufacturer, cemented incubated at 37 °C 24 hours. Afterwards, randomly divided into four groups according cycle: control group, 1750, 3500 7000 cycles (n = 12). Following aging procedures, tested bond. Statistical analyses done by using IBM SPSS 20.0 program. While ANOVA test used intra-group statistical analyses, LSD multi-comparison analysis detection inter-group differences. significance set p < 0.05.
Results: Although an overall reduction seen all following applications, found be statistically significant Panavia Veneer Esthetic (p<0.05). 1750 application, V5 G-Cem LinkForce dual-cure property showed higher strength than light-cure structure (p<0.05).
Conclusion: procedure associated absorption interface. So preferred cementation restorations among key parameters success.

Effect of Laser Irradiation on Bond Strength of Zirconia Ceramic to Self-Adhesive Resin Cement

Background and Aim: Bonding of zirconia to resin cement is challenging, and the zirconia surface requires surface treatment to yield an acceptable bond strength. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different surface treatments on the bond strength of zirconia to a resin cement. Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro experimental study, 60 zirconia discs measuring 12 mm in diameter an...

Effects of ceramic primers and post-silanization heat treatment on bond strength of resin cement to lithium disilicate-based ceramic

Background The silicon tetrahydride or silanes is an inorganic colourless gas with spontaneous combustion in air at room temperature [1–3]. Silane or functionalized silanes has widely industrial and medical applications, and works as coupling and impermeabilizing agent. Silane coupling agents have also been applied to bond glass and carbon fibers to polymer matrices, creating a strong adhesion ...

Effects of Aging on Compressive Strength of Two Resin-Reinforced Glass Ionomers: An In-Vitro Study

Background and Aim: Although the physical properties of modern glass ionomers have been extensively reported, few studies have examined how these parameters change with age. This experimental study aimed to investigate the effect of aging on the compressive strength of resin-reinforced glass ionomers. Material and Methods: Two glass ionomers (Fuji IX GP Fast, GC, Japan, and Ketac Universal, 3M,...

Effect of thermocycling on the bond strength of a glass-infiltrated ceramic and a resin luting cement.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of thermocycling on the bond strength between the surface of the glass-infiltrated alumina ceramic In-Ceram (VITA) and the Panavia F resin cement (Kuraray CO.). Four 5x6x6mm In-Ceram blocks were obtained. One of the 6x6mm faces of each block was conditioned with Cojet - System (tribochemical silica coating, ESPE-3M) and then luted under a ...
